Join ‘Mr Rum’ himself, Roger Barnes, a world-renowned authority on rums, global rum judge and director of premium spirits distributor, Spirits Elite as he explores the unusual dark and flavourful secrets of cask finished premium rums from some of the world’s best artisan rum producers.
Journey through the Eastern Caribbean from Martinique’s HSE to Antigua’s English Harbour, both of which are premium staples on the bar at Park’s Edge Bar & Kitchen. Sail in a Westerly direction to explore one of Jamaica’s most exciting small batch rum distilleries. Then, Roger has a surprise for you! It will be a long voyage across the waters to Indonesia, but we promise you, it will be worth it!

Enjoy Chef Alex’s selection of delicious tapas style dishes as well as a complimentary welcome cocktail.
7.30pm: The Rum Experience
Savour and learn about five incredible rums, showcased by a world-renowned authority on rum.
After the tasting you’ll also have the opportunity to continue the evening by purchasing other rums or drinks from our bar, to be served neat in our signature crystal rocks glasses or in a rum cocktail, Park’s Edge style!
All participants will be entered into a very special draw and will get the chance to win a limited circulation bottle of 2009 HSE Port Cask Finish Rum.
Christmas Shopping Opportunity
Roger’s special pick of rum bottles will be available for sale on the night, whether you’re taking bottles home for yourself or buying a thoughtful or unusual gift for friends, colleagues or family.
Boxed gift-wrapping for Christmas gifts will also be available.
Doors open for dining at 6pm (dining finishes at 7.30pm) and the tasting starts promptly at 7.30pm.
